Half an hour before go time, the sky opened it’s vault of water on us… and rain came crashing down the little town of Amherstburg, ON. With no indoor venue, we looked at each other and thought “what now?!?”

Yes, there were a few tense moments. But thankfully, the rain left almost as quick as it came, the wedding guests started to come out of hiding, and wedding rolled on. So glad it did, because what a joyous time it was!

There was so much life in this day. Many smiles, much laughter, and a few tears here and there. This was an example of two people excited to be married.

And to finish the night, we lit up the sky with Chinese Sky Lanterns which were covered in best wishes, blessings, and the odd happy face drawing 🙂
